in shanghai, the plane trees that line the old french concession are called 梧桐, wutong. london’s streets are lined with plane trees too, and each leaf opens like a hand.

the name begins with 吴, wu, the family name behind the label, and the leaves fall just as it turns cold enough for gloves.

we make handmade gloves in nappa leather, suede and calf hair, in small runs of each colour, all in size 7.

colour and print: 005. the 005 plum python-print gloves. plum suede, the python printed across the back of the hand, a slim leather binding at the wrist. the python is printed, not real.

texture: 002. the 002 spotted gloves. cream calf hair, cowhide with its short hair left on, black spots, dark brown leather down the sides.

how loud is too loud?
